Magnolia Galaxy
A beautiful hybrid magnolia bred in the US, Magnolia Galaxy is a small, fairly slow-growing, deciduous tree with a narrow, pyramidal crown, a lovely specimen tree for the larger garden. It’s grown mainly for its stunning blossom; from crimson buds deep pink, tulip-shaped flowers, 8”/20cm across, emerge, opening more widely to reveal a pale rose interior. The flowers emerge in early spring before the deep green, oval leaves appear. Magnolia Galaxy begins flowering at an early age, and mature trees flower very profusely. Holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
